Balloon Candle Making Recipes
This recipe will help you in creating one of the simplest candles there is out there in the market. To make this balloon candle, you will only need 3 items!
The steps are simple and easy:
* Take the balloon and fill it up with water (you heard right – water).
* Tie the top part of the balloon to make it secure.
* You can use a double-boiler, electric skillet or sauce pan to melt the wax in (better to use an old sauce pan or skillet).
* Allow the wax to fully melt by keeping the temperature between 165 to 185.
* Let cool until almost firm.
* Put water balloon into wax, pull it out quickly, leave it and let the layer of wax cool.
* Dip the balloon and cool the wax repeatedly until you have approximately 1 cm thick of wax surrounding the balloon.
* Pop the balloon and take it out from the center of the candle.
* Slowly pour warm wax inside your balloon candle shell and roll the shell continuously to fill up the interior.
* Place the wick in the center and pour in the final warm wax so it will surround the wick .
* Do not release the wick until you have allowed the wax to cool so that the wick is supported.

* Gently spool the edge of beeswax around the cotton wick sealing it into place. The heat of your hands will help make the wax softer and assist in closing the wax candle.
* Follow through by slowly rolling the candle wax, making sure the it is straight and tight.
* The heat of your fingertips will be able to join the edge of your wax candle together once you reach the end of your wax sheet.
* Cut the bottom part of the wick then cut the top part to about a quarter of an inch.
