These are some very important questions to ask your self before selecting your scrapbook theme. You are going to be telling a story through your scrapbook pages. You will want to use scrapbook embellishments that relate to the story that your scrapbook will tell. Remember, if you are creating the scrapbook for someone other than yourself such as a friend or relative, use scrapbook embellishments that reflect that person’s personality or their interests.

3. Have you participated in any events or projects? Photos or mementos from these events can also be the basis of your scrapbook theme.
4. Hobbies of you family . Like I said before… If you love scrapbooking, you may choose for your scrapbook theme to be related to scrapbooking. The things that bring you happiness can be your theme.
5. Scrapbooks that focus on your Family Tree and Genealogy of your family . Family Tree scrapbooks are a great way to preserve your family history and this is currently a very hot scrapbooking trend.
6. Create your own twist on template themes. Creating a scrapbook about yourself for your parents instead of just doing it for yourself. These can be focused around recollections of your childhood.
